First thing they did when I arrived was to pop open some champagne! The best kind of clients. And for good reason!
Betsy is one of my oldest and closest of friends, I’ve know Justin almost as long. We all went to high school together and during our Senior year Betsy and Justin started paying pretty close attention to each other. Like all great relationships, it started as a friendship and grew into love. I remember being a little surprised by it when they first started dating. I wouldn’t have put the two of them together, but now ten years later I can’t imagine them apart.
Five years after high school they were married, and now here we are five years after that celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary with portraits.

Because Betsy is my best friend, I gave her and Justin the VIP treatment. We went all out for a marathon portrait shoot. Four hours, an outfit change and four locations! Four! It was completely worth it.

Betsy and Justin live in Silver Lake, since they are such super cool kids, so we stuck with all local sites. First off was the Music Box Steps, the site of the famous Laurel & Hardy film.

Then we headed off to their favorite local restuarant, El Pollo Loco (kidding, sorta, these guys love their BRCs)! But really we all spent a lot of time together hanging out at our local EPL in high school, so I thought it was the perfect location for some fun portraits and a quick meal before we moved on to our next location.

That’s “their” booth, by the way, where they sit and people-watch the crowd across the street at Intelligentsia.

And a couple quick shots across the street. This sign is so Betsy & Justin, they’re both from the ‘burbs, but are big travelers:

Then we headed back to their Silver Lake home where we poured a little more champagne and slipped into something a little more comfortable…

Ummm, you guys are super hot!

And hello there gorgeous long legs! Sexy!

Lastly, we took a little walk up the road to a lovely little clearing where we could catch some of that super yummy, warm, sunset light! It’s my favorite!

Betsy was totally workin’ it! She knows she looks amazing!

And Justin was looking pretty amazing too!

You guys are too hot for words! Love you!
