Audrey – Six Month Baby Portraits

A few weeks ago I was thrilled to once again have the honor of shooting this gorgeous family!
You may remember them from their Maternity Portraits back in January (my first real pro shoot) or Audrey’s Newborn Portraits in February.
Audrey is now six-months old and is cuter than ever!
Audrey was amazing to shoot. She was very sweet and cooperative, with this charming little smile. She’s a photographer’s dream baby!
The family lives in Ventura and I’m in Santa Clarita so we met halfway in between us, in Fillmore. We had originally planned to shoot at the Little Red Schoolhouse, but found that they lock the gate around it on the weekends. So disappointing and a little nerve wracking for me! But Kristy is amazing and works in Fillmore so she had some backups in mind. We ended up shooting at City Hall which was really lovely.
Did you catch that defiant look in her eye?! As if to say, “Just try and stop me from eating this leaf! I know it doesn’t taste good, but I’m going to do it anyway!” Watch out Andrew and Kristy, this little one might be trouble!
Holy cow does Audrey ever love some good airplane action! She was very calm and cool up to this point, just quietly making cute faces at me, Jenae, and her parents. But when Andrew lifted her up the air, she let out this loud squeal of delight! It was the cutest thing I ever heard!
After shooting at City Hall I suggested we run over to the lemon groves and grab a few shots amongst the trees.
I was so excited to find that they had brought this lemon-yellow outfit! Perfect!
Thanks Audrey, Kristy, and Andrew! I’m sure I’ll be seeing you again in February when Audrey turns one! I can’t wait!
