The last year has been amazing for me! This business has been doing so well, I’ve been so busy, and working so hard. At the same time, I’ve been balancing life as a mom of two. My little boy turned one two months ago, and as I edited the photos from his birthday party, I realized that, aside from a few I’ve hung on the wall, those were the first photos of him that I’ve edited since his newborn photos. I’ve been shooting photos, though not nearly enough, but I’ve been so busy that once I upload them to the computer I don’t look at them again.

Although, I feel so grateful for this wonderful year in my business, I also feel somewhat guilty that because I’m working so much I haven’t taken the time to record and share his first year like I did for his big sister. I want to start remedying that. I am going to begin posting photos from George’s portrait sessions throughout his first year and start regularly sharing more of our everyday life here, because I don’t want to leave Eleanor out either! And, although my clients’ children are adorable, I really do have the cutest kids in the world and I know you all want to see more of them!

I’m starting today with George’s 4 month portraits, and hopefully I’ll be posting his six month portraits soon! (If you missed them, take a look at his newborn portraits as well.)
