Earlier this month, I spent a week in Las Vegas at WPPI, the biggest photography convention in the world. I took classes from some of my favorite photographers and walked the trade show floor looking for new beautiful products to offer to my clients. I brought back with me so many ideas to improve and expand Just Maggie Photography. I am busy putting in place all sorts of exciting new changes.

While WPPI was wonderful, the real reason I was in Vegas was to take the Stripped Down Workshop from my friend Denise of Modern Love Photography. Her work has always been an inspiration to me. Her images are full of life, feeling, and intimacy. I was eager to learn her secrets to capturing emotion in her images. It was an amazing experience! Denise really took me out of my comfort zone and taught me how to open myself up to be able to bring out the expression I wanted from my clients so I can capture the portraits they’ve been dreaming of. I can’t wait to use these techniques in my next Boudoir session!
