— Four For Friday Posts —

1. Just THREE TWO spots left for next weekend’s Get Cozy with Your Camera Workshop! Register before they’re gone!

2. I’m also available for private lessons and workshops! I taught a private lesson earlier this week with one of my former workshop students. She was at the point where her photo skills were surpassing her technical knowledge. She was shooting in Aperture Priority, but wasn’t getting the images she wanted. Although she was a little nervous about it, it was definitely time for her to start shooting in full Manual mode! After spending a few hours going over everything with her she really got it! Now she just needs to practice! I can’t wait to see how she does!

3. I’ve booked a photographer whose work I really admire who I’m “internet friends” with to shoot my Maternity Portraits. She does some gorgeous maternity work! I can’t wait to finally meet her in person and have her shoot my giant pregnant belly! Check out her some of her Maternity Portraits HERE.

4. R.I.P. Etta James

1. TODAY is the last day to place orders for delivery by Christmas/Hannukah! I hope you all got your orders in! It’s been such a busy couple of months! I’m so happy to have a bit of a break! I’m only shooting Newborns in December. And I have just two scheduled! The rest of the month will be spent packaging and shipping orders and working on organization and business planning for 2012! I’m very excited about this! I have so many ideas for the coming year!

2. I adore the holidays! My house is already decked out! I’ll be doing a full holiday decor post in about a week or two.

3. My little girl turns FOUR next week! I can hardly believe it! We’ll be celebrating with a party this Saturday, Disneyland on Sunday, and lunch and a movie on her actual birthday! (I’m big on celebrating everything!) Here’s a sneak peek at her 4 year old portraits I shot last week:

p.s. She was the most difficult, uncooperative model I have ever had! But I still managed to get a full wall gallery of images from the session. So to my clients, when I say don’t worry about your cranky/shy/active kid, I mean it! I always get something good no matter how uncooperative your kiddos are!

4. For those of you who’ve been asking, YES! I have another Valentines Boudoir Day planned. The announcement will be coming soon! Email me now if you want to get on my Boudoir VIP list to be the first to hear about.

I also have a new photo workshop tentatively planned for the end of January. Sign-up for my newsletter (top of the page) to make sure you hear about it!

1. I’ve just completed the AMAZING Online Boudoir Photography Workshop from my favorite photographer in the whole world Christa Meola! So I’m thrilled to be shooting a Boudoir Day next week, I’ll be bringing my new bag o boudoir tricks thanks to Christa! I can’t wait! You guys will be in for a treat when I start posting the images!

2. We had a blast over the last week while my husband’s best friend was in town visiting from Texas. We took him to see the new Dinosaur exhibit at the Natural History Museum, went to visit UCLA, had dinner in Westwood with an old friend from high school plus Diddy Riese Cookies, and had a day at the beach, followed by dinner party. Such a fun visit!

Here’s a few images from the week:

3. Next week is the last week of my daughter’s preschool summer program, which features weekly visitors including the Bubble Man, a Reptile Handler, and the Library Fairy, and a water play day once a week! I wish I was in a preschool summer program! I think we’ll both be pretty sad it’s over.

4. My husband, Josh and I are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary this weekend with a night at the Farmer’s Daughter in West Hollywood. Can’t wait! A night without a child! We are going to watch so much tv! I’m really excited to visit the Farmer’s Daughter. I adore boutique hotels. I’m sure I’ll have tons of photos to share with you next week!

Happy Friday everyone! Have an amazing weekend!
