Over the summer, I shot a styled shoot for my friends Stacey of Stacey Lynn Design and Carly of Flour. The theme was Vintage California. I loved everything about this shoot. The theme was fun and unique, and the colors were amazing. Best of all it was eco-friendly. Everything used in the shoot was vintage borrowed from some amazing Etsy vendors.
The images were submitted to Eco-Beautiful Magazine and were chosen for their Fall Issue. You can check it out online HERE at pages 34-37! And I’ll be sharing some more images from this fun shoot with you next week!

I’m decidedly not a wedding photographer. I looooove weddings, but wedding photography is just not my cup of tea. And I’m far too short (a teeny 4′11″) to be really good at it. My height really limits the ceremony and reception shots I’m capable of getting. (If you need a wedding photographer I’ll refer you to my dear friend Amy!)
But my father-in-law was getting married so how could I possibly say no!
Brian and Raisa started dating at the same time Josh and I did. We were married a year later, and have been waiting for Brian and Raisa to do the same ever since. That was seven years ago, so it was about time! They have a good sense of humor about it. Raisa even walked down the aisle to Etta James’ “At Last”! Very cute!
They were married the day after Christmas in a very small ceremony at the Tournament Player’s Club in Valencia. We were blessed with a chilly, but dry and cloudless day after a week of rain! We were very, very thankful! The day was lovely and everything went according to plan. A perfect day!
