About Maggie Keegan Gross Photography

Maggie

Hi, I’m Maggie! I’m the kind of person that laughs easily and smiles constantly. I’m a natural optimist. I believe in people. I believe in love. I believe in my friends and my family. I value strength, courage, kindness, and above all, a sense of humor. I love books, music, coffee and good conversation with great friends. I love my husband Josh and my daughter Eleanor. I love photography.

I’m a part-time attorney and a photographer every other moment of my life. Since I was a teenager, my passion has been photography. I put down my camera for a few years while I finished college and went to law school. But picked it back up again after my daughter was born in an effort to capture every amazing moment of her childhood before it‘s gone.

While capturing my growing daughter, I discovered that this passion was something that had been missing from my life for too many years. I can hardly believe now that I ever set my camera down for so long. There is little in this world that I love more than creating a beautiful image. I put my heart into every image I create. And I strive to make my images look every bit as beautiful, interesting and joyful as my clients feel.

You can read more about my photographic style in this post.  And you can get to know me better by reading my family blog, Making Me Cranky.

Jenae – Maggie’s Assistant

Hola world, it’s Jenae. I am a part-time student and a full-time employee of the LA County…and that just sounds like a whole lot of boring right off the bat, but I have lots of creativity bundled up in this brain of mine that’s always ready and willing to be unleashed or pushed past my comfortable boundaries.

I’m always up for any new challenge life has to throw at me. When I heard that Maggie was looking for an assistant I was willing and eager and could not be more excited to be a part of her photography team. I hope you’ll feel excited to be creative and have fun while shooting your portraits with Maggie. I know I am.
